STATE OF THE ART

When the curatorial team at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas decide to host an exhibition for unrecognized artists, a quest to uncover fresh work begins. As the Art Directors set out to discover new creatives, they find themselves immersed in work that is intently personal and deeply rooted in community, showcasing not only what unites Americans but also what inspires us. With vignettes featuring seven of the new artists, this expansive documentary is a reflection of the diverse and groundbreaking work being produced in America today. From award-winning filmmakers Craig and Brent Renaud and Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN).
