KOFI AND LARTEY

Directed by Sasha Rainbow

Explore the city of Abbogbloshie, “one of the most toxic places on the earth,” via the lens of Abdallah, who’s creating a children’s center, and two of his best pupils, Kofi and Lartey. Despite the city’s reputation, Abdallah sees the value of the city inhabitants. Armed with the right tools and education, he’s convinced kids like Kofi and Lartey can overcome their obstacles and secure a better future so they aren’t relegated to a life of sifting through electronic waste.
