In the snowy mountains of Iceland, infants are dunked underwater, encouraged to fall off diving boards, and precariously balanced in the hand of their instructor. Snorri Magnússon teaches this unconventional swim class where no one is too young to learn. Using sweeping camera movement and lush imagery, the film captures Magnússon’s endless optimism, as he creates a sonic world reminiscent of the womb and forges a community for new parents.
